What a find! Small, 2 minute or less walk to the beach, beyond spotlessly clean (including the small swimming pool). This is an adult only property and the owners could not be more cordial. My wife and I just stayed for two nights over New Years. We were in a room like others we saw at the property with NO smelly damp carpet odors because the newly re-done rooms had clean large tile floors. A real plus when staying near water. Very good size room with plenty of light, cross ventilation, kitchenette with microwave, sink and refrigerator, plates, glasses etc, small dining table and two chairs, good bedding, walk in shower and wall mounted flat screen TV. Besides walking to beach, so much else was available in the way of seeing and/or eating. Certainly very well priced. Without a doubt a must stay on future returns to Clearwater Beach. Thanks and our best to owners Helen and Bill.

Having never been to Clearwater I was not real sure where to book. After reading many very positive posts about The Beachouse I took a shot. We made the perfect choice with the perfect Inn! The Pictures on here are accurate yet not quite good enough. (It’s better when you get there) Helen and Bill are quite gracious hosts and they maintain a nice, clean quiet place a block off the busy street and a very short two small block walk to the beach. Although it wasn't a picture perfect weather weekend we had no problem enjoying the beach, some bars, stores and restaurants when the intermittent rains came through. Helen pointed out a few places to try and we were quite pleased with her advice. Thanks to Helen and Bill we found a perfect place to stay in Clearwater for any future visits. The Beachouse feels like a home on the other coast.

This was the perfect place to stay in Clearwater Beach. We loved the beautiful penthouse condo. Quiet but close enough to walk to everything. The condo was well appointed with anything you would need during your stay. The owners, Bill & Helen Sykes are lovely, kind, helpful people. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful. We will definitely return!  The Penthouse was amazing-and it has a private deck!

Just got back from a wonderful 11 night stay at The Beachouse and had to leave a review. Stayed in the Penthouse which afforded large rooms that were both quiet and airy. The suite was very clean and came with everything we needed from full cooking facilities to glasses, china and cutlery as well as full laundry facilities. There was also a large balcony with table and chairs and sun loungers which overlooks one of the inlets. This allowed us to sit outside in private and watch the Dolphins and Birds. The owners Helen and Bill made us most welcome and were very helpful and friendly and we cannot thank them enough. All of this, and with the best beach in Florida only 3 minutes walk away, made this a special holiday.

My husband and I spent one great week there and we only have good things to say about the beach house. Memorial Day Weekend was hectic at Clearwater and staying there we could jump to busy places anytime within 10 minutes of walking (the accommodation is really close to the beach, bars and restaurants) or if we wanted, we could retrieve ourselves to the room to get some rest. We, basically, just parked our car there and didn't move it. The room was clean and cute and the place was quiet at anytime of the day. The owners gave us some great tips on where to go and everything they suggested was good. The fact that it is not at the front beach turned out not to be so important because we could sit on the patio and watch the view at the back side of Clearwater which was good too. Also, compared to the other motels around it, the Beachouse stood out basically because it looks and it is clean, neat and cute. We definitely recommend the Beachouse. Now, that we found this place we are seriously considering visiting again. Overall, staying there greatly contributed on us having such a great time.

My husband and I recently had a 2 1/2 day weekend retreat and stayed at this property. I am an avid travel and food reviewer and typically make my decisions based upon reviews of others. The owners Helen and Bill were very accommodating and helpful in every way from our initial phone call to book our stay to guiding and recommending things to do, see & places to eat. I recommend The Beachouse. It was quite, adult-only and very close to everything you would want to do. The beach was across the street and the Beach won't disappoint you either! I will visit there again and stay at The Beachouse. Thank you.

We spent three nights over the July 4th weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Helen and Bill were great hosts! The Beachouse is very clean and well maintained. The room was comfortable and quiet. The pool is refreshing after a day at the beach. We could see the fireworks from the parking lot. After we returned home, I realized I had left my cell phone charger in the room and Helen was kind enough to mail it to me. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here based on the TripAdvisor reviews and they lived up to the hype. The owners were charming and helped us as we arrived after hours with providing a key. Super nice people and a great location. If you are looking for a quaint stay in a reasonable condo this is right up your alley.

The room was very clean on arrival and they even provided extra sheets upon request. When we were checking in Helen the owner wrote out a map of all places to hit for a quick meal and where to go for the best sit down lunches and dinners. She was spot on as every place we ate at was fantastic. We will absolutely be back.

A warm thank you to Helen and Bill for making my stay so enjoyable, they were the perfect hosts. The Beachouse is a small quiet property off the main road which is kept immaculate and clean. I recently visited Clearwater Beach during Memorial Day weekend and looked on TripAdvisor for reviews and found this hidden gem so decided to stay here. I booked a studio suite which included a king size bed, TV, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, sink, dishes and utensils. It would be perfect for two people for a short stay, for longer stays, I would ask about the larger accommodations with a full kitchen. This is an adult only property, so if you are looking for relaxation, you will find it here. 

Helen will suggest good restaurants upon your arrival and she is spot on for the place to go for great seafood and Italian food. There is a Publix close by which I used to put a few things in my refrigerator like beverages, fruit, and snacks for the beach. There are shuttles and transportation to/from the restaurants, however, the airports (Tampa or St. Pete) are approx. 30-45 mins away depending on traffic. I rented a car so I had my own transportation during my stay. The causeway on/off the island can get backed up during the late afternoon and traffic/parking around town can be challenging especially on a holiday weekend. During the week, the beach crowds were light and on weekends a few more locals were present, however, if you get to the beach early, you will get a good spot near the water. Chair/umbrella rentals are $25/day, so since I was there for 5 days I bought my own chair in a store to use for the week.

The pros of this beautiful and tranquil beach are worth experiencing and the Gulf water is warmer than any Atlantic ocean temp on the northeast coast. The constant breeze makes it most comfortable even on those warm days. I would highly recommend The Beachouse as your next destination, I would definitely return.

My husband and I selected Clearwater Beach for the many amenities the area offers. We were looking for a safe, clean and quiet place on the water, within walking distance of good food/activities during Spring break. We chose The Beachouse due to the value of what you get for the price compared to the hotels we normally stay at. Also, The Beachouse responded promptly to our email. I liked the service we were receiving from the start! 

While in CW, my husband wanted to work on his golf game and I wanted to walk the beach and sit poolside to catch up on reading. Everyone (owners and guests) were friendly and helpful with dinner suggestions when we asked but, we had plenty of privacy. The food suggested was some of the best food we ever had! 

The rooms were very quiet. I never heard anyone from the other rooms all week. The Beachouse reminded me of the quaint family inns of Old Florida (with a modern touch) that I remembered from childhood vacations. 
As we return home and get ready to face our busy lives, we are recharged and ready, thanks to a great week in Clearwater Beach. We plan to make The Beachouse an annual event. I would recommend The Beachouse to anyone who is looking for something similar.

My husband & I spent a great week at The Beachouse & the week could not have been better. We had a 1 bedroom+living room unit. A friend of ours came down to spend the week with us & she had a regular 'motel' room. We all thought The Beachouse was great! Helen & Bill are wonderful. You think you are in a B&B rather than a 50's Florida-style motel. The location could not have been better. It was about a 3 block walk to the beach & within walking distance of restaurants, shopping & anything else one could want. The Beachouse could not be cleaner - it is kept in tip-top condition. Helen & Bill only rent to adults, so it is very quiet. We cannot say enough good things about The Beachouse & will definitely stay there again.
